         Vedic Shikshya Prasar Samiti,Odisha (VSPS,ODISHA) is a non profiting trust registered under Indian Trust Act 1882 .It has Regn.No.41371100097  Dated.11.1.2011. Its founder is Brahmachari Girija Sankar Maharaj . Its Head Office is at SIVANANDA PARIBAR At/po-Itamati, Nayagarh, Orissa . Its main aim is to build a peaceful society. It thinks human being is getting pain due to ignorance . For this Brahmachariji  delivers PRABACHAN. In addition to this it has other aims as follows         
Aims and objects :
HEALTH & SANITATION PROGRAMME
1. To work for the promotion of the general health condition of the people.
2. To undertake various sanitation programme for upliftment of better sanitation and
eco friendly environment for rural people.
3. To organize activities for development of physically handicapped and such other
types.
4. To provide medical facility for the needy and poor people where medical services
are inadequate to meet the demand.
5. To organize safe mother and child survival projects.
6. To conduct family welfare and population education programmes.
7. To conduct health camps and to supply medicines to needy persons.
8. To conduct voluntary blood donation programmes.
9. To take care of the village tanks, wells and to arrange to supply the villagers with
drinking water through different kind of programmes.
EDUCATION AND AWARENESS PROGRAMME
10. To undertake educational programmes, women awareness and women
development programs for eradication of illiteracy.
11. To undertake vocational education training like computer education, mobile
repairing, tailoring, etc.
12. Create awareness among people to refrain from harmful addiction and consumption
of alcohol, dowry, infanticide etc.
13. To organize primary education, formal education, formal education, adult education
centres for the deprived people. To help the poor meritorious student for higher
studies.
14. To conduct adult education centres for the illiterate people of rural and tribal areas.
15. To manage Balwadis, crèches and day care centers elementary education and nonformal
education centres for children.
16. to conduct the training of women in public cooperation to identify the needs of
women in rural backward and tribal areas through survey and to orient the
movement, through training camps in a manner in which they can involve to meet
their felt needs.
17. To promote awareness in various field such as Health, Education etc.
18. To open,found,establish,promote,set-up,run,maintain,assist,finance,support and or aid or help in the setting up and or maintaining and running schools, colleges and other establishments or institutions for advancements of education and of knowledge inarts,science,culture,literature, basic humanities and other useful subjects in all their manifestations such as technical and medical education, physical training, yoga training training of handicrafts, fine arts and other useful arts, crafts and institution for women and children and to provide social welfare works for women and children. & to implement innovative and experimental education programmes for children by opening sister organisations (schools) named GURUKUL SHIKSHYA NIKETAN.
ENVIRONMENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
19. To work for the promotion of the ecology of the area.
20. To create awareness among people especially youth and women to protect and
preserve existing forest and to create awareness.
21. To organize Social forestry programmes and to make plantation in the waste lands,
village roads and encourage the people to do so.
22. To promote the alternative sources of energy like biogas, solar etc through the
environmental programme.
23. To create awareness among the forest dwellers and educate them in shifting
cultivation, plantation and protection of forest.
24. To take demonstration projects for ecoregeneration of degraded areas in the field.
25. To manage environmental research projects aimed at studying the impact of human
activities in the biosphere and vice versa.
SOCIAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
26. To work for the development of Agriculture with application of appropriate
technology, modern equipments, developed seeds, pesticides for better yield.
27. To organize small and cottage industries in the rural area with the help of khadi and
village udyog.
28. To organize activity like animal husbandry, poultry, goattey, fishey, piggery for
economic development.
29. To organize different income generating activities.
30. To construct and repair any such temple,mosque, gurudwaras, church , other places of public worship in and outside the state & the village roads.
31. To promote Mahila Mandals, Self Help Groups and Youth Groups for the
development of women and youth.
32. To arrange handicrafts and cottage industries training centres for the needy women.
33. to organize different skill development program to raise the competency and
managerial skill of the rural youths.
34. To introduce new technology farming.
35. To conduct lab to land programmes.
36. To impact vocational training to farmers and women.
37. To grant,pay or give scholarships, stipends, vprizes,rewards, allowance and other financial assistance or help in cash or kind to students and persons of eminence in various fields with view to help them prosecuting their studies in schools, colleges, educational institutions, technical institutions, art schools, institution of teaching, commercial and other arts including teaching of cultural arts or other training ,research or educational work in India.
38. To enable endeavors like watershed development, environmental management,
resources planning etc.
39. To envisage a role in planning of water resources so as to serve the purpose of
sustainability and equity.
40. To work towards building local tribal women’s organization to improve their
position and conditions of living.
RESEARCH TRAINING & ADVOCACY
41. To organize different training activities for the grass root level worker to raise their
efficiency and skill.
42. To organize different survey and research work on various aspect of rural
development.
43. To organize Counseling centers for youth, HIV/AIDS patients, and other chronically
ill persons.
44. Information dissemination.
45. doing research on various areas and bringing out issues that require attention.
46. Finding out areas with maximum risk and providing intervention services to prevent
the calamity.
47. To undertake perfeasbility studies for in the areas relating to Governance,
consultancy project monitoring, internal system design an implementation,
taxation, internal audit, reporting on implementation of projects, strategic planning,
interim management, evaluation, financial planning, development consulting,
capacity building for micro enterprises and organization development.
48. To promote scientific research training and field action in rural development.
49. To undertake other activities like field action project research, advocacy, networking
and to promote understanding and better professional practice in the areas of social
work, social services and allied professional fields.
50. Promoting a broader understanding of urban poverty, including aspects related to
health, human rights, entitlements and participation.
MISCELLANOUS PROGRAMME
51. To undertake various development programmes and national thrust programmes of
government and non government agencies.
52. To work as a forum to provide job opportunities to the unemployed youth.
53. To bring about effective integration of community participation in various
development schemes launched by the Government and other social development
organizations.
54. To offer management consultancy and implementation support services to various
State and Central Government organizations.
55. Providing legal aid to the women, innocent prisoners, poor people etc.
56. Helping the children and family of the prisoners.
57. Undertaking correctional measures for the prisoners.
58. To work for the welfare of street children with the aim of making them more
productive and law abiding citizens.
59. To rescue and rehabilitate children working in hazardous industries, by organizing
fieldwork and surveys and also by helping other welfare agencies working in the
area of child labour.
60. To work for the rehabilitation of street children through education and imparting
values and life skills.
61. To undertake the govt. schemes & its implementations.
62. To provide micro credit consulting and undertake impact evaluation for funding
agencies and banks.
63. To work for the promotion of folk culture, music and other arts of different areas
and protect them from vanishing by organizing functions and encouraging artists.
64.Enter into such contracts or agreements as the Trust may think fit for the purpose of the present trust and such or any of those purpose to retain or from time to time,employ and remove, skilled , unskilled , professionals and pay for their services ,such as fees, remunerations or any such proportion thereof,as the trust in its discretion,considers expedient.
65. To accept, hold or administer any gift, donation or construction in mind, money whether upon trust or otherwise and to undertake, to execute any trust or obligation on which, may be deemed conclusive to any of the objects of the Trust.
